  • Text: ISRA Introduction to Qur'ānic Arabic 101

    Course Description: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Qur'ānic Arabic, using slides prepared by Mufti MWK. Emphasis is placed on understanding key vocabulary and grammatical structures found in the Qur'ān. Students will learn 50% of the most frequently used words in the Qur'ān.

  • Text: Ten Lessons of Arabic by Ustādh Aamir Bashir

    Course Description: This course focuses on constant application and translation to reinforce learning. Using "Ten Lessons of Arabic”, students will expand their vocabulary beyond Qur'ānic Arabic, gaining proficiency in a broader range of Arabic terms and expressions. Regular practice and interactive exercises will help students apply grammatical rules and enhance their translation skills, building a solid foundation for advanced Arabic studies.

  • Text: Fundamentals of Classic Arabic by Husain Abdul Sattar

    Course Description: This course delves into Arabic morphology, focusing on the structure and patterns of Arabic words. Students will learn to recognize and form various word structures, enhancing their ability to understand and use Arabic effectively.

  • Text: The Qur'ān

    Course Description: This course offers an in-depth study of selected verses. Students will analyze the text, exploring its linguistic, thematic, and moral aspects. The course aims to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of the Qur'ān.

  • Text: Tashīl al-Naḥw by Mawlānā Mushtāq Aḥmad Charṭhāwī

    Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Arabic grammar using the text "Tashīl al-Naḥw." Students will learn the fundamental rules of syntax, enabling them to construct and understand complex sentences in Arabic. The curriculum focuses on covering the more common rules of grammar, making it practical and applicable for everyday use. The course includes practical exercises and regular assessments to reinforce learning and ensure students can apply grammatical concepts effectively.

  • Text: From the Treasures of Arabic Morphology by Mawlānā Ismāʿīl Ibrāhīm

    Course Description: Continuing from the introductory course, this advanced Ṣarf course delves deeper into Arabic morphology. Students will study more complex word structures and patterns, including the study of thalāthi mazīd fīh (tri-literal augmented verbs) and taʿlīlāt (the causes of morphological changes). This comprehensive approach will enhance students' linguistic skills and their ability to analyze and understand Arabic texts at an advanced level.
